From above, the lake looks like a jewel set into the mountain. It may be sapphire or emerald depending on the light of day, and is nestled at the foot of the Pic de Sesques. To get there, you need a good dose of motivation, but the reward is well worth the effort.

Très belle randonnée depuis le bitet. Exigeante dans la dernière partie. Ça vaut le coup de la faire en début de saison quand la fonte des neiges crée 5 ou 6 cascades qui s'écoulent dans le cirque.
